Southcoast Custom Woodworking is a family owned and operated business.  Our craftsmen work directly with the homeowner, designer, builder or architect to produce the finest quality cabinetry and furniture.  Southcoast's hands on approach from concept through to the finished product enable them to bring your imagination to life.

Southcoast's Begining

The owner, Bruce Dionne was introduced to woodworking in High School and continued his love for the craft part time for several years until the opportunity to work as a full time apprentice in a custom furnituremaking shop was presented to him. 
Mr. Dionne was elevated to a journeyman and through his knowledge and skill ascended to the level of master craftsman.
After twelve years of furnituremaking, Bruce decided to turn his passion and his developed skills to custom cabinetmaking. 
In 1998 ,with the help of a local builder, Bruce's dream was realized in an old sail loft. Here is where Southcoast Custom Woodworking was born.
In 2001, Southcoast expanded and moved into its present five thousand square foot facility in the Mattapoisett Industrial Park.
